We are looking for a Take-Charge person with experience in accounting and substantial familiarity with using a personal computer, including strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 1 year Account Receivable and Administrative Assistant experience, who will take full ownership of the position. Full-time, Monday - Friday, starting at 8:00 a.m. Starting pay is $13.00 - $14.00, depending on experience. Paid vacation. Pre-employment drug screen.
Applicant will be responsible for receiving payments, daily deposits, tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generate weekly aging reports in a timely manner. The candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principles and MS Office (especially Excel). Experience with QuickBooks a plus.
Applicant will also be responsible for acting as assistant to Administrative Manager. Administrative department is involved with various purchasing, payroll and bookkeeping activities as well as Human Resource responsibilities.
The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator, both paper and over the phone.

Accounting Experience (minimum 1 year) with well-developed understanding of basic accounting principles and standard procedures
Use of standard office equipment, such as calculator and copier
Strong use of computer and productivity software, including the following (or comparable):
Microsoft Office 2010 Word
Microsoft Office 2010 Excel (including creation of formulas and use of functions)
Ability to deal with Employees and Co-Workers in a Friendly, Business-like manner
Dependable attendance and follow-through
Understand and abide by confidentiality requirements
Able to determine priorities and maintain focus on the task at hand
Attention to details (sorry, no secretary to fill in the blanks!)

Quick Study when learning computerized tasks
Experience in Food Safety and/or Job Safety program administration is a plus!
Hours and Pay Rate
Full Time, 40 hours per week
Hours somewhat flexible - approximately 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday
Pay Rate commensurate with experience: $13.00 per hour +
