We are creating a new position, so that we can devote even more attention to our Food Safety and Job Safety Programs! As government regulations expand, or more extensive programs are recommended by third party auditors, such as AIB, it has become more difficult for Food Safety and Job Safety to receive the attention they deserve from managers who also have many other duties.
We are looking for an individual with experience in Food Processing and a working knowledge of current government regulations and current recommended practices in all areas of Food Safety and Job Safety. This person will also be willing to attend education and certification courses (ath the campany's expense).
This person who fills this position will be responsible for maintaining our Food Safety and Job Safety programs -- including self-inspections, scheduling and conducting training, keeping up with required paperwork, and updating our existing programs to keep them current with both regulations and workplace changes.
This person will also assist with daily computer functions relating to production of our products. You will assist the Plant Manager with entering recipes and helping with tracking of products.
